On 1862 Swami vivekananda was born to a rich family in culcatta .his childhood name is narendra.his father name is vishwanathadatta ,he was a famous lawyer.

• One day narendra and his friends were on meditation his friends mind were roaming here and there so while they were meditating all his friends ran away as they saw snake and some tried to wake narendra but he was meditating so he could not listen any voice .when he got up from his meditation all his friends asked why he had not get up when they all were screaming . By this only we can get to know that narendra had good concentration in his childhood itself.

• Narendra was not believing any thing without seeing it.once he and his friends went near a tall tree to play in afternoon. there an old man was sleeping because of the children he could not sleep so he said in that tree there is a brahmarakshas which will kill those who come near this tree by listening this all children ran .but next day after noon narendra came near this tree ,by seeing this oldman was shocked and went near him . narendra replied here there is no brahmarakshas.
